IVF babies have higher risk of defects due to epigentics

Ivf babies are at more risk of diseases such as diabetes and obesity as well as rare metabolic disorders.

These changes are not in tthe genes but in the mechanism that switches genes on and off.

Researchers took samples from seven permafrost layers  dating from 12,000 to alout 7,500 years ago from a site on the yukon river valley in central alaska.

The researchers reported that they found mitochondrial DNA from bison,horse, mammoth,moose and snowshoe hare.
